Shelby Rider

I am an American fashion designer and fine artist/illustrator. I am currently the Senior Designer for Slim Factor-a women's sportswear brand designed in NYC for Dillard's retailers. I enjoy doing freelance art, graphic design, and creative writing on the side, and I enjoy using all of these skill sets to become a better and more well rounded designer. I have experience in all categories of women's sportswear, including blouses, dresses, jackets, cut & sew, and pants, and I specialize in garments using special trim and embellishment layouts.

I received my BFA in fashion design at Virginia Commonwealth University. I also studied at Santa Reparata in Florence, Italy. My art and fashion pieces have been exhibited in New York, Oklahoma, Alabama, Virginia, Italy, Qatar, and China.
